CaseReviewed

What is an approval step?

An approval step is a sensitive step in the approved procedure. Apollo asks the named approver in Slack, Microsoft Teams, Asana or the banking app. The case continues only after they approve. The named approver is one of the bank's people.

Who approves a sensitive step?

The approved procedure names the approver for each sensitive step, and that approver is a person at the bank. Apollo sends the request to them in Slack, Microsoft Teams, Asana or the banking app and holds the case at that step. Nothing after the step runs until they approve.

What happens when the procedure does not cover the case?

Exceptions are cases the approved procedure does not cover. They go to the bank's team with the full case history, so nobody starts from zero. Apollo never edits the procedure. The process owner reviews the deviation and approves an improved version in Atlas.
