The same problem everywhere we worked
At the banks, consultancies and technology firms where we worked, operations teams coordinated cases by hand. The rules sat in Word files, wikis and PDFs.
2025
We built Apollo in Dubai
We founded ISTINA AI in the DIFC and built Apollo, AI agents that handle banking requests by the bank's own procedures.
2026
Atlas puts the procedure first
Running cases showed us that the procedure decides the result. Atlas drafts process documentation from a bank's policies and regulation, and a person approves each version.

Our founders
Mohamed leads the company and its strategy. Before ISTINA AI, he worked in strategy and transformation at N26, UniCredit, PostFinance and Siemens Financial Services.
Sebastian leads product. Before ISTINA AI, he worked at N26 and PwC and led AI and digital programmes for large enterprises as a senior consultant and project lead.
Max leads engineering and designs ISTINA AI's conversational and multi-agent systems. Before ISTINA AI, he worked at IBM, PwC and zeb.
Where is ISTINA AI based?
ISTINA AI is headquartered in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), the financial free zone in Dubai. It works with banks and other financial institutions in the GCC and Europe. ISTINA AI is ISO 27001 certified. SOC 2 Type II is in progress.
