We build AI agents for banking operations

ISTINA AI is a Dubai (DIFC) company, founded in 2025, working with banks and other financial institutions in the GCC and Europe.

How do AI agents run a banking request from start to finish?

Apollo runs each request by the procedure your people approved. A supervisor agent plans the steps, specialist agents check the details and do the work in your systems, and sensitive steps wait for human approval.

AI agents need written procedures

AI agents are only as good as the procedures they follow. In most banks the SOPs and process documentation sit in Word files, wikis and PDFs: scattered, outdated and contradictory. AI built on them automates the confusion. And when your regulator or internal audit asks for the current version, nobody can point to one.

How it works

Draft, run, improve: one platform

Atlas drafts your procedures. Apollo runs cases by them and shows where real cases deviate. Your process owner approves the next version.

How does your team stay in control?

Three gates keep your team in control: your process owner approves each procedure, sensitive steps wait for human approval, and exceptions go to your team with the full case history.

  1. Gate 1: before a case

    Your process owner approves first

Apollo runs the procedure your process owner approved.

  2. Gate 2: during a case

    Sensitive steps wait for approval

Apollo asks the named approver in Slack, Microsoft Teams, Asana or the banking app. The case continues only after they approve.

  3. Gate 3: on an exception

    Exceptions go to your team

When a case is not covered by the approved procedure, Apollo hands it to the right specialist with the full case history.

Frequently asked questions

What banking processes can AI agents handle first?

Start with one frequent request that already follows a written SOP, such as card and account requests, payment enquiries or internal operations tickets. Atlas drafts the procedure from your own documents, your people approve it, then Apollo runs it.

How long does it take to go live?

2 to 4 weeks from kickoff to live, starting with one process. Before go-live, every agent runs through test cases in Test Center, including the cases that must stop for approval or go to your team.

Is ISTINA AI ISO 27001 certified?

Yes. ISTINA AI is ISO 27001 certified. SOC 2 Type II is in progress. The Trust Center lists our controls and subprocessors. Policies are available on request from security@istina.ae.

How is ISTINA AI different from a chatbot?

A chatbot stops when the conversation ends. Apollo stops when the case is closed in your systems. A supervisor agent follows the approved procedure, specialist agents work in your CRM and core banking, and sensitive steps wait for human approval.

Do we have to replace our core banking system?

No. Apollo works with your core banking and CRM as they are. Older systems are reached through their APIs, so agents can read and write without replacing them.
